I have been coming to the Le Marche region in Italy my whole life. Since I was a child, I went on holiday here with my parents and every year we discovered new amazing hidden gems throughout the region. Le Marche, is a place that I have come to appreciate very much all these years.

Even when I went to study, I kept coming back to this region, this time with friends and my girlfriend. Everyone who came along fell in love with this region. After studying in the Netherlands, my wife and I even got married in Italy.

After my studies, I started working in the watch industry. My heart beats faster from craftsmanship and old technology and that is why I chose this industry. For Richemont (the umbrella group of Cartier, Panerai and Montblanc, among others), I worked for years in the Benelux and Nordics. Here I gained wonderful experiences and learned to work in luxury. I also started my own company in vintage watches in 2016, the best way to continue learning in addition to a permanent job.

My passion for the region has continued to grow in the meantime. A few years ago I bought my home in the north of Le Marche. My experience really started here, because through the entire purchase process and additional work, I got to know the local population well. At that point I knew for sure that I wanted to do more in Italy. But first I had to gain more experience and confidence.

After Richemont I started working locally, at Schaap & Citroen jewelers (about 25 stores). Here I gained experience in real estate development. Working with monumental buildings was a wonderful learning experience for me. I got to know every step in the renovation and conversion process. The experience here gave me enough confidence to take the step that I always had in mind.

In 2025 I decided to focus completely on my passion, namely sharing my love for Le Marche. It is a very emerging region where new initiatives to develop the area are the order of the day. The Adriatic coast, the Apennines and the beautiful hills in between. The region is fantastic, so I would love to welcome you to show you this!
