I’ve been visiting Italy’s Le Marche region for as long as I can remember. As a child, I spent holidays here with my parents, and each year we uncovered new hidden gems scattered across the landscape. Over time, Le Marche has become a place I deeply cherish.
Even after I left for my studies, I kept returning, this time with friends and my girlfriend (now wife!). Everyone who joined me was just as captivated by the region as I’ve always been. After studying in the Netherlands, my wife and I even got married in Italy.
After finishing my studies, I began working in the watch industry. Anatural choice, as I’ve always had a passion for historic craftsmanship. That passion led me to Richemont, the parent company of brands like Cartier, IWC Schaffhausenand Montblanc, where I spent several years working across the Benelux and Nordic regions. It was an incredible learning experience. In 2016, I also founded my own vintage watch company, a way to keep learning, growing, and exploring my passion alongside my full-time career.
My passion for the Le Marche region has only deepened over time. A few years ago, I bought a home (Casa Serafini)in the northern part of the region, a turning point in my journey. Going through the purchase process and the renovations that followed gave me the chance to connect with the local community on a much deeper level. It was then that I knew I wanted to build something more meaningful in Italy. But first, I needed to gain more experience, and the confidence to take that leap.
After my time at Richemont, I joined Schaap & Citroen Jewelers, a prominent chain with around 25 stores across the Benelux. There, I shifted my focus more locally and discovered a new interest: real estate development. Working with historic buildings was an incredible learning experience, offering insight into every stage of design, renovation, and construction. That chapter gave me the foundation, and confidence, to pursue the dream I had carried with me for years.
In 2025, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to sharing my love for Le Marche. I made the decision to purchase my second and third home in Colli al Metauro (this commune is my favourite as you can tell).
This region is still emerging, with new initiatives and developments unfolding all the time, there’s always something new to discover. From the Adriatic coast to the Apennine mountains and the rolling hills in between, Le Marche is simply breathtaking. I’d be delighted to welcome you and show you the magic of this place firsthand.
I believe the best way to experience the region is through a balance of comfort and quality, without losing sight of authenticity. If you have any questions or would like to know more, feel free to reach out via the contact form below.
